Legal Status of Peptides in Slovakia (2026)
Research peptides are legal to purchase in Slovakia for scientific and laboratory use. Under the Medicines and Medical Devices Act (Zakon c. 362/2011 Z. z.), substances sold strictly as research chemicals — not registered as medicinal products and not making any therapeutic claim — do not fall under the prescription or registration regime.
The State Institute for Drug Control (Statny ustav pre kontrolu lieciv — SUKL) regulates medicines and medical devices in Slovakia. Research peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, Glutathione, and NAD+ are not listed as controlled substances under Slovak drug legislation.
SUKL Compliance and Intra-EU Transfer
Since ORYN dispatches from the Netherlands — inside the EU customs union — shipments to Slovakia are intra-community transfers. SUKL jurisdiction applies to products marketed as medicines; ORYN's research-only positioning, COA paperwork, and absence of therapeutic claims keep it outside that jurisdiction.
